The 4A molecular sieve is an alkali metal alumino-silicate with an effective pore opening of approximately 4 angstroms (0.4 nm). The sodium form of type A is widely used as a general-purpose drying agent and has good physical and adsorption properties. Type 4A beads can be used to adsorb water, ammonia, methanol, ethanol and carbon dioxide. •Storage
Because of its high and fast adsorption capacity,The product should be stored in original pack or air-proof package in cool and dry conditions should not be left exposed to open air.
•Regeneration
Molecular sieve 4A can be regenerated by increasing temperature or reducing the pressure.A properly regenerated or activated molecular sieve can give moisture dew points below -100°C. The outlet concentrations on a pressure swing process will depend on the gas present, and on the conditions of the process.
